A small, detailed cast skull sits on a sterling silver band hammered flat. Oxidisation brings out the eye sockets and teeth, giving the skull a darker contrast against the silver.
Wear it on its own or stacked with other rings. The flat band shares the profile of my handmade hoop earrings, connecting the ring to the same simple, worked-silver forms.

A reminder to live
For me, the skull is not so much a symbol of death as a reminder to live. Used for centuries as a memento mori, it is a physical reminder that nothing lasts forever.
