Repairs & Upcycling

I repair jewellery I've made, and I also take on repairs and upcycling work on pieces made by others. If something you love has broken, or you have old jewellery sitting unworn that you'd like remade into something you'll actually wear, get in touch.

Repairs

I can restring beads and pearls, re-tip claws, solder broken chains, resize rings, replace clasps, and refinish scratched or dull surfaces. If you're not sure whether something is repairable, ask — I'll tell you honestly.

Repair prices start at £25. I'll give you a firm quote before any work begins.

Upcycling

Old gold or silver jewellery can be melted down and remade into something new. If you have pieces that belonged to someone else, or things you bought and never wore, this is a way to keep the material and start again with the design.

Upcycling is treated as a bespoke commission — prices start at £250 and depend on what's being made and how much metal you're supplying.

A note on liability

I take every care with work entrusted to me, but I cannot accept liability for pre-existing weaknesses or damage in pieces brought to me for repair. I will always flag anything I notice before work begins.
